Demo & New Build
Introducing our Brandywine project, a new build home with modern finishes. Originally built in 1932, we demolished the old home and started from the ground up to build a modern haven.
BEFORE
AFTER
Originally a 1,375-square-foot 1932 American Foursquare, we tore it down and rebuilt a 4,939-square-foot Modern Craftsman for modern living. Highlights include a gourmet kitchen, a recreation room with a wet bar, and a two-car detached garage with an ADU.

AFTER
Demolishing the home allowed us to build a more modern layout while expanding the foot print of the original home. A great room with an open kitchen and living room encourage community and room for larger events while a front sitting room, back family room, and formal dining room allow for more pirvacy.

The home’s gourmet chef’s kitchen is open to the living room. Featuring a large island with a modern pendant light, a work station sink, and French doors that lead out to the backyard. The kitchen includes top-end appliances, including a Wolf range and a full-sized Sub-Zero fridge and freezer. A butler pantry to the side of the kitchen allows for ample storage.

The primary suite features a large walk in closet, spa like bathroom, a fire place and reading nook, and a balcony deck.

The fourth floor features a rec room lounge area with wet bar and access to a roof deck; along with a bedroom and full bath.
The second floor includes the primary suite, two bedrooms each with their own full bath, and laundry room.
One challenge we faced with this home was the beautiful heritage tree in the backyard that couldn’t be removed. We worked with the architect and city to find the best solution: building around it. The house is an L shape, to accomodate the heritage tree, making it a charming feature of the home.
In the back yard as a detached two car garage and ADU with an open room, laundry room, and full bath; perfect for an office or guest space.
