Full Renovation and Addition
Introducing our Parry Lane project, an addition and renovation project with all the southern charm. Originally built in 1970, this Colonial Revival home was in the perfect location for the homeowners, but not the space their busy family needs. As a proud North Carolinian and true Southern belle, she dreamed of a home that could graciously welcome guests, support everyday family life, and reflect her classic style. Our renovation and addition did just that: preserving the home’s heritage while giving it room to grow.

By reimagining this underused footprint, we created a full addition that integrates seamlessly with the home’s Colonial influenced exterior. The expansion includes:
A mudroom designed for real life
A cozy and efficient home office
A new powder room and elegant butler’s pantry
A private primary suite retreat
From structure to siding, every detail of the addition was crafted to feel like it had always been part of the home
With children in year-round sports, the homeowner needed more than a place to drop bags: a true landing zone for comings and goings. Durable brick flooring gives a nod to timeless Southern architecture while standing up beautifully to cleats, gear, and everyday dirt. Thoughtful lockers and a direct path into the living spaces turned a once chaotic entry into a functional and inviting transition.

Relocating the primary suite into the addition created the perfect retreat. It provides improved privacy, a smarter layout, and space that feels calm and elegant. It’s an intimate sanctuary designed around the homeowner’s needs; proof that practical builds can still feel deeply luxurious.

The renovation continued throughout the main house, where traditional charm meets modern functionality. The kitchen now features updated cabinetry, a panel ready fridge, and a stunning island with seating for gathering, because Southern hospitality always starts in the kitchen.
And for easy entertaining? A newly added butler’s pantry keeps everything organized, stylish, and ready for guests.

The dining room was transformed into a warm, welcoming extension of Southern hospitality. By refreshing the layout and brightening the finishes, we created a space that feels both gracious and intimate, perfect for family dinners and hosting guests in true Southern style.
Floral wallpaper and thoughtfully layered details bring charm and personality to the room, while updated lighting and millwork give it a refined, timeless presence. It’s now a place where everyday meals feel special and celebrations shine, beautifully connecting tradition with the way this family gathers today.,
As part of the addition we included a new home office for him. Custom blue built-ins frame the space with rich color and practical storage, making it a stylish and functional retreat for working from home. But this room is more than elegant cabinetry, it’s also a display of the homeowner’s beloved baseball memorabilia, thoughtfully showcased to celebrate his passion without overwhelming the design.
The result is a space that feels tailored, personal, and distinctly theirs, a room where productivity meets pride.

We refreshed the living room, laundry room, and front sitting room, maintaining architectural character while adding elevated finishes and a brighter, more polished palette. The entire home now feels unified, respecting its original design while elevating comfort and flow.
